FlowShare is compatible with Windows 8, 10 and 11 on 64-bit systems regardless of the software used (browser or local applications)
The installation file is signed with a code certificate issued to the miraminds GmbH to avoid compromise.
No. FlowShare does not make any changes to your system and can be completely uninstalled. If you do not want to use the msi installer, we can also deliver FlowShare as a zip archive on request (support@getflowshare.com).
Qt is an established and widely used library. Prominent German examples based on Qt are the software ELSTER of the the German tax authorities or the Duden Library.
FlowShare does not send user data to third parties unless you allow it by utilizing features like AI-enhanced text generation or the AutoTranslate Add-On, the FlowShare Portal or FlowShare Assist. Unlike cloud services, all data remains on the user’s system when you use FlowShare on your desktop. A FlowShare project is stored in a file with the ending .flow. A flow file can be inspected using a Zip program. It contains one XML file and usually several image files.
Our license mechanism communicates to the external at the moment of activation/deactivation. In addition, every 30 days to check the validity of the license key. We use an established provider for this (https://wyday.com/).
We deliver automatic software updates at irregular intervals (on average twice per quarter). A short query as to whether an update is available is made at the start of FlowShare. If an update is available, the changes are listed. Whether an update (on average 150 KB in size) is actually downloaded and installed is up to you as the user. You can also decide to reject the update.
