You do, through SharePoint. Because guides land as normal files in your own site, access is governed by the same groups and policies as everything else there. Teams that want a searchable library with its own roles use the FlowShare Portal as internal knowledge base software instead. Nothing is shared outside your tenant, and no FlowShare account is needed to read a published guide.
Select SharePoint as the export destination inside FlowShare and choose your format, PDF, PPTX or DOCX, using your own documentation templates. Authenticate once with your SharePoint URL and afterwards publishing is a single click from the export menu.
Yes. Published guides are ordinary files in your tenant and inherit SharePoint’s own permissions, retention and compliance settings, so documentation follows the access rules your Microsoft 365 environment already enforces. FlowShare adds no separate permission layer of its own, and capture itself runs as on-premise documentation software on your Windows desktop.
Exported guides are indexed by SharePoint search like any other document in the library, so they surface through the same intranet search your team already uses. Nothing extra has to be configured for them to become findable.
Re-exporting overwrites the previous file in the same location while SharePoint retains version history, so the link people have bookmarked always shows the current process. It is a deliberate re-export rather than a background sync, which keeps you in control of when a change goes live.
It is native. SharePoint is a built-in export destination in FlowShare’s export menu, with no Zapier and no third-party connector involved. Authenticate once with your SharePoint URL, following the full setup guide, and publishing is one click from then on.
Not currently. The integration supports SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365 only. FlowShare itself still runs locally on your machine, but the publishing destination has to be SharePoint Online.

No. Recording happens entirely on your local machine and nothing leaves the desktop during capture. Only the finished export travels from FlowShare to your SharePoint Online environment, at the moment you choose to publish it.
