Connect your HeyGen account once, then export a captured guide. Choose an avatar and voice and the video is generated from your step text and screenshots. Style, background and sharing options can be adjusted in HeyGen afterwards.
Go to Export, then Integrations, then HeyGen, enter your email and API token, and click Test and Save. One-time setup per author, with a full walkthrough in the linked setup guide.
From your HeyGen account under Settings, then API. Create the token, copy it into FlowShare once, and the connection persists. An active HeyGen plan is required for a token to exist.

Yes. In HeyGen you can change style, background, avatar and sharing options after generation. The underlying steps stay linked to the FlowShare guide, so content and presentation are edited in different places on purpose.
Yes. Update the process documentation in FlowShare and export again to generate a new version. Keeping the captured process as the source is what makes video maintainable, since re-recording narrated video for every change is rarely realistic.
Capture runs locally, as on-premise documentation software, and the connection is authenticated with your own HeyGen account. Only the guide you explicitly export is transferred, at the point you send it.
Yes. A generated video can include up to 50 steps, and individual step descriptions are limited to 1500 characters. Longer processes are split across several videos.
A FlowShare paid plan plus an active HeyGen plan and API key. The integration connects the two products but does not include HeyGen, so the subscription is worth confirming before planning a set of videos.
